Micro needling

Micro needling, also know as “Collagen Induction Therapy” is a cosmetic procedure that creates microscopic punctures in the skin for rejuvenation.  It repairs damaged skin and improves texture and tone.  It minimizes the signs of aging such as fines lines, loose skin and wrinkles, it demishes acne scars, enlarge pores, melasma, hyperpigmentation, sun spots and improves the appearance of stretch marks

We offer:

• Micro needling with Dermapen medical grade micro-needling devise which will trigger the growth of fibroblast cells that will stimulate the production of collagen resulting in plumper and smoother looking skin.

• Micro needling with TCA CROSS (Trichloroacetic Acid Chemical Reconstruction of Skin Scares), treatment method in which the chemical peel TCA is placed directly into the icepick, deep pores, boxcar, creating wounds that scab and ultimately heal to generate new skin.  Microneedling with TCA Cross combination is a superior treatment for atrophic acne scars.

• Micro needling with PRF, (Platelet Rich Fibrin), is a procedure of separating and concentrating components of the blood which has essential nutrients and stem cells, when micro needling with these factors, it penetrates deeper into the skin tissue creating enhanced benefits that promote healing and rejuvenation. 

• Micro needling to the Scalp, simulates collagen to the scalp just as it does to the face, it brings blood flow and nutrients to the scalp that induces the new stem cells that regenerate the health of the hair follicles which can result in new hair growth, it is believed to thicken thinning hair for both men and women.

How does it work?

The treatment itself takes about 15-20 minutes to perform. A numbing solution is first place on the area to be treated to ensure there’s little to no pain and left on for 20-30 minutes. The procedure is then performed using topical serum to protect, calm and soothe the skin. Light Therapy is performed after the procedure to help with inflammation and healing.

Micro needling with PRF is the process of drawn blood that is then centrifuged, the process results in separating and concentrating components of the blood such as stem cells and growth factors, the procedure is then performed using your PRF.

How often can micro needling be performed?

Micro needling is generally performed on the same area, every 6 - 8 weeks.

Who is a candidate?

Most people can benefit from the procedure. Micro needling may not be suitable for people who have open wounds, cuts or abrasions, suffering from skin infection and poor wound healing or are pregnant or breast feeding.

As with any minimally invasive procedure, best results are achieved as a part of a larger skin care, anti aging and hair regiment. Results can vary, client with more severe skin and hair thinning concerns may require multiple sessions.
